The lab “Assessment and Personality Psychology” is inviting applications for a doctoral research position in the project “The role of measurement in the replicability of empirical findings”. The project is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and is part of the priority program META-REP: “A meta-scientific program to analyze and optimize replicability in the behavioral, social, and cognitive sciences” (https://www.meta-rep.uni-muenchen.de/index.html). The focus of this project is on item-based measurements of psychological constructs used in original and replication studies. The main goals of this project are 1) to increase transparency and improve reporting practices on measurement in published research and 2) to provide hands-on advice to replicators and metascientists who have to deal with heterogeneity in measurement across studies. The project is a joint project with researchers at TU Dortmund.
